splendid architecture: house at the park - rather than opposing the preconditions of the site, the project adapts and embraces the old tree population of the park and integrates their presence into the design. ’house at the park’ by german practice splendid architecture is a residential house for a family of six in hamburg, germany. true to its name, the site of the project is an old tree population with a large number of trees in and around the grounds.  the design aims to integrate this precondition into the architectural concept rather than oppose it.
